Happiest Place on Earth

We’re now in Anaheim, California staying over at our college friends’ apartment. It’s been a long time since we last saw MM and Beb. Together with another college friend Jean Paul, we reminisced about the good old times, how much has changed and how some things have stayed the same. Tomorrow will be a blast still as King will be flying in for a few days. (Bachelor’s party anyone?)

And while we’re in Anaheim, we visited the happiest place on earth…

Yes, the happiest place on earth is still Disneyland. My last trip to Disneyland was in 1992 while Mimi’s was in 1994. We started at the newer park, the California Adventure and we really enjoyed the rides especially the California Screamin’ roller coaster and the Hollywood Tower of Terror. After lunch we hopped to Disneyland and boy, was it packed. We managed to ride the Matterhorn and to tell you the truth, it was still the same ride I rode for the first time 15 years ago. Disneyland is more old than new. But still, we’ll be coming back tomorrow as there are a few more rides we want to see.
