Jon + Zet (Balai Indang, Red Ginger Farm)
It’s been a while since we’ve attended a relative’s wedding. We’re usually out covering another wedding and bummed that we get to miss out on all the family fun. So we’re happy to not only cover Jon and Zet’s wedding, but also attend as guests and bring Katy along to meet the De Leon side of the family.
Jon is my younger cousin. I belong to the first batch of cousins who share with the young ones the scary things in life like the Siopao Monster, a nocturnal-flying, siopao-shaped monster that sucks the brains out of unsuspecting kids. Of course, this monster is actually just the white frothy siopao-shaped frogs’ eggs on our Lolo’s mango tree. ‘Til this day, they remember how traumatized they were about the Flying Siopao Monster. Luckily, there were no Siopao Monster sightings then.
Methinks Suzette is a great addition to the De Leon family. Welcome Zet!
Zet was pretty loose a few minutes before ceremony…
… but I guess the thought of joining our crazy family finally sank in. Hahaha!
Perfect weather for an outdoor wedding:
Catch Zet’s heartfelt vow as captured by Threelogy.

My cousin and my aunt — they can be quite competitive… :p
The gentleman on the left is Jon’s brother. Being a De Leon, he has a certain effect on the ladies as you can see from the girl’s reaction.
One of the highlights of the wedding was my uncle’s speech. It’s the first time ever that I’ve heard him speak publicly and he was pretty good. He even got to plug and say a few nice things about M+K. I guess that’s what uncles are for. Thanks Tito! Haha!
Congrats you two! Hopefully, Katy gets to see another De Leon cousin next year!

Galing! Galing! I love the shot where you could see the reflection of the bride on the mirror as she puts on her veil. The shot with the billowing drapes… the weepy shots (awww priceless)… ganda!
