Ryan + Mia (Santuario de San Antonio, Blue Leaf)

This photo pretty much summarizes Ryan and Mia’s wedding: a touch of elegance with a sprig of rock and roll. I mean, where else can you find a bride in a borloloy-ridden Veluz gown wearing red Chucks and dancing to The Jerks at the wedding reception?

Mia strikes me as a jeans and shirt kinda girl but she rocked the elegant bride bit effortlessly.

Based on her smile, there was a girl who loved the gown even more than the bride… Ganda?

Will + Kate

I was surprised just how effortless this engagement session was. With no warm-up period, we finished everything in an hour. Great light, plus a madly in love couple, equals awesome photographs.

At first, Will was a bit apprehensive about wearing his football uniform but we loved how it turned out — somewhat GLEE-ish. Hehe.

Jon + Zet (Balai Indang, Red Ginger Farm)

It’s been a while since we’ve attended a relative’s wedding. We’re usually out covering another wedding and bummed that we get to miss out on all the family fun. So we’re happy to not only cover Jon and Zet’s wedding, but also attend as guests and bring Katy along to meet the De Leon side of the family.

Jon is my younger cousin. I belong to the first batch of cousins who share with the young ones the scary things in life like the Siopao Monster, a nocturnal-flying, siopao-shaped monster that sucks the brains out of unsuspecting kids. Of course, this monster is actually just the white frothy siopao-shaped frogs’ eggs on our Lolo’s mango tree. ‘Til this day, they remember how traumatized they were about the Flying Siopao Monster. Luckily, there were no Siopao Monster sightings then.

Methinks Suzette is a great addition to the De Leon family. Welcome Zet!
