Rene and Joanne (Caleruega, Antonio’s)

Joanne and Rene’s spring wedding in Tagaytay was a treat for us as we got to work with a really cool couple and had a great time doing so. It’s not every wedding that you walk into the bridal suite and see that all the suppliers are your friends… Jody ‘not so’ Liwanag (coz of her Boracay tan), Niko and Veluz (she dropped her last name a long time ago during the heydays of Madonna), The Madgician (Madge+Beautician = Madgician) and the girls from her parlor, and the masters Mang Jason Magbanua and Mang Dino Lara with their teams. (Threelogy was there in spirit as they did the prenup AVP. And at the reception were host Melissa Ferrer and stylist April of April and Karen.)

As you can imagine there was a lot, as in A LOT of friendly ribbing (just like above, peace guys, don’t kill me hehe). But you have to admit, with the talent in that room alone, creative mojo was oozing everywhere.

The entourage neckties had a nice ‘O’ pattern, a perfect background for the rings:

I just love Mimi’s photo of the cute flower girl:

There were 6 photographers (Mimi and I, Dino, Jun and Robert plus Madge) and 3 videographers (Jason, Cecile and Elson) and we literally had to scramble to find a different angle, especially during the couple portraits!
