Dreams and the Outer Banks, North Carolina have always been intertwined in history. Blackbeard the Pirate used to dream of gold and silver from Spanish galleons passing along these shores and the Wright brothers dreamt of flying their plane up on the sand dunes. How apt then that Kathryn and Adam realised their dream wedding on the beach front of a house named, what else, but Carolina Dream.

Jolina Magdangal has always been known for her unique colorful style while Mark Escueta has always been the the rockstar drummer god of Rivermaya. It was no surprise that their wedding in Splendido, Tagaytay was a mishmash of their quirks. They chose a bohemian hippie picnic as their wedding theme and with the help of Chinkie Uy-Agregado of Metro Eventscape Planners and event stylist Teddy Manuel, they managed to pull it off.

Just to make things clear, we were not the official photographers; MangoRed and Dino Lara were. We came as part of Skitbooks, our newest venture in event entertainment and giveaways. That being said, we couldn’t resist taking photos of the ceremony and reception details by Teddy Manuel.

A year ago, Hanson and Aimee brought us, Threelogy and the Metrophoto team to Ilocos Norte for a prenup session like no other. Hanson particularly wanted their engagement photos to be different so instead of having photos at the usual tourist spots, he brought us to a couple of far-flung places, complete with hour-long trekking and wading in mud hehe.

Since some of us haven’t been to Ilocos, our gracious hosts toured us around. We passed by the Burgos lighthouse and was greeted by this naughty ghost :p
